Think I was wrong how Paypal works. What happens is you have the Paypal app on your phone and you check in at our event. Then you make the payment from your phone. Sorta neat.

For the financially literate:

Credit > Check > Cash > Debit

For the financially inept:

Cash > Check > Debit >= Credit

I have one dongle in hand and another in the mail, so we can do two at once if we have to. Also, counting cash is a pain, so it should be a wash or an improvement.

As I go forward with researching all the advanced features MSR has, I'm going to make a hard push to get people to pre-pay. Especially since they offer delayed processing, where you don't get charged until you check in at the event. There's even the possibility of self check-in.

Teator, will everyone using debit cards become a time consumption ordeal?

You do it on the device with the paypal dongle. It asks you for your account, your password, then charges you. But if you have a credit card on hand, it's just easier to swipe it than to go through that extra step. Paying with paypal is really only useful if you have a balance with Paypal, or forgot your wallet (and happen to have your license to race)

If you want to prepay, just easier to use MAE or MSR.

Of course they're releasing earnings after the market closes.

Can I pay with AAPL? I'm afraid it will only worth a few bucks after the earnings release on Tuesday..
