In one week on Saturday the 18th, CKR is putting on a scenic tour (non competition rally). Come join us for a great drive on Kentucky backroads and a lunch at Wallace Station. There will be no entry fee for this event. If you are not an SCCA member, you will get a free weekend membership that will also apply to our autocross event on the 19th!

What exactly is a Road Scenic Tour compared to a Rally event? Are we still going to have rally type directions? Are there going to be checkpoints along the way or any type of competition to it?

By the way, I would love to see the Rally program going again. There can be as much adrenaline in a rally event as there is at an autocross.

Directions yes but no checkpoints, non competition. Intended to be a "starter" event to see what people are up for. If someone wants to take the rally program and run with it I'll help provide any needed support, but for now, just gauging interest with just something fun & social.

We had six cars - 12 participants. Everyone seemed to have fun, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and didn't get lost. I've already mapped out another similar one for breakfast at Windy Corner on Saturday, June 8. ~ Dee Schweikle
