What happened to the Tire Index and Pro class?

For 2014 we will be running standard SCCA classes plus RTU as a catch-all and TT for those wishing to not be in a competitive environment. Additionally we're adopting the SCCA recommended regional only CAM (Classic American Muscle) class.

I see a place for such a class for nothing other than to provide mandatory ride along help to first time autocross drivers.

I thought from this point on, to avoid any elitist stigma, the class who shall not be named be called "Instructors Class".

Nah, just going with the standard. While regions are free to run whatever classes they desire to fit regional needs, including completely ignoring the SCCA nationals class structure, it just gets complicated on many fronts, from explaining to newcomers, registration, points, results, and general complaining/confusion. So, just standard with the two additional catch-alls.

What is the limit to the number of drivers that can enter this event?

I missed the deadline to register my co-driver.
